According to the National Association of Realtors (NAR) there are more than 900,000 licensed realtors in the U.S.

Real Estate Lawyers routinely handle legal issues involving house purchases and rentals, condos, new home problems, and all the numerous issues, which can arise in dealing with real estate agents and brokers in the purchase and sale of homes.

Real Estate Lawyers represent buyers at closings, negotiations; do title examinations and searches, deed preparation, zoning disputes, quiet title actions, toxic mold contamination and offer mediation and arbitration over disputed issues. Real Estate Attorneys can also represent investors, homeowners and condominium associations, subdivision developments, and financial institutions with regard to their lending.
